The ultimate subtle vegan slogan T-shirt from Vegan Outfitters.
There are many fantastic vegan companies which produce vegan slogan t-shirts. If you would like a subtle vegan slogan T-shirt and want to support a small vegan business consider purchasing an item from Vegan Outfitters.
Veganism is often only associated with food. Whilst food is of course a huge part of the vegan lifestyle, vegans also make sure they purchase products such as toiletries and clothing without animal products. Whilst all vegans check items not all of them stop to think about how or where a certain good was made. How long would this item last? How far has this product travelled to get here? In order to make truly ethical purchases, you need to ask yourself these questions.
A truly ethical item is one that is sustainable, can be recycled and is cruelty-free. Of course other elements such as its carbon footprint and whether that product could be purchased second-hand also come under the ethical umbrella.

If you need an ethical t-shirt which you would like to purchase from a 100% vegan company have a look at Vegan Outfitters. They describe themselves as “passionate plant-based vegan killjoys!”
Vegan Outfitter’s mission is to “spread compassion, one tee at a time”. Vegan Outfitters are based in the UK and produce T-shirts with vegan slogans. Some of their designs are quite provocative whereas others are fairly light-hearted. They promise that their apparel is ethically crafted and also donate a percentage of the sale to UK animal sanctuaries. Conscious consumers will like these vegan T-shirts.
Which vegan slogan to choose from?
After looking at ALL of the slogans (there are many!) I settled on the herbivore T-Shirt. I felt it was very pretty and was the perfect way to tell the world I eat plants.

Wearing a vegan slogan t-shirt is a great form of subtle activism. Most people see activism as marching down the street with a sign yet there are subtle ways of spreading the vegan word. Wearing a vegan slogan t-shirt is one of them. Seeing the word vegan may spark a conversation with an omnivore. During your vegan travels, it is also a great way to show the world that the future is vegan. Also wearing a t-shirt with the word ‘vegan’ on it saves that awkward conversation of you know a vegan within 2 minutes because they tell you. Well this t-shirt saves that talk as everyone will know you are a proud vegan!
Which colour to pick?
Consider colours that will match lots of items that you already have. Minimalists advise buying neutral clothing. Neutral colours go with many more looks thus the item is used more and requires the user to buy less clothes for different outfits. Neutral colours are good for the slow fashion movement. This white T-shirt goes with skirts, shorts, leggings and jeans and it is used a lot. Furthermore, minimalists suggest buying items that are not a current trend and that will always ‘be in fashion’. White T-shirts are a timeless piece and not just a current fashion trend.
Zero-waste conscious individuals will appreciate the plastic free packaging! The Vegan Outfitter T-Shirt is delivered in a paper envelope. Why can’t more brands offer plastic-free packaging? This T-shirt was perfect to wear during our visit to a zero-waste vegan b&b in the Lake district too!
The T-shirt’s first outing was to the Great Yorkshire Vegan festival. I wore the vegan T-shirt under a denim jacket and with black leggings. Only after we came back from the festival did I realise I did not manage to take a photo wearing it without the jacket on…
Buying a Vegan Outfitters T-Shirt helps support animal sanctuaries
Another great thing about vegan companies is that many of them donate a percentage of the sale to vegan charities. Vegan Outfitters support animal sanctuaries in the UK. These sanctuaries are dedicated to rescuing farm animals from abuse and slaughter. Buying one T-Shirt from Vegan Outfitters supports either: 3 x days worth of kale for a goat, 7 x days’ worth of hay for a sheep during the colder months, sweetcorn to feed 4 chickens as a treat or 7 x days’ worth of watermelon to feed a turkey (who knew that turkeys love watermelon!?) You will be happy that some of your money is going towards local animal charities.
Vegan clothing needs to not only contain no animal products. In order for clothing to be classed as ethical it needs to have been made humanely and safely in an environmentally sustainable way. Vegan Outfitters have a W.R.A.P Gold certified facility. This means that:
- They do not use sweatshops or child labour
- Their products are manufactured in a safe, lawful, humane and ethical manner
- Vegan Outfitters use solar powered sewing and cutting floor
- 7x less water used than the average clothing manufacturer
Ethical consumers can rest easy that no sweatshops or child labour was used to make your Vegan Outfitters T-shirt.
What I love about the Vegan Outfitters T-Shirt
Yes, I would. The feel of the garment is very soft and comfortable. The shirt goes perfectly with jeans, leggings, skirts and shorts. At £19 there are certainly much cheaper white T-shirts available on the high street. Yet the heavier price tag means that you are supporting fair labour, cruelty-free fashion, donating to an animal charity as well as purchasing sustainable clothing material.
What I do not love about the Vegan Outfitters T-Shirt
There are two things I do not love about the Vegan Outfitters white T-shirt. The T-shirt’s neckline is very high. Those with round faces (cough cough me!) may prefer a slightly lower neckline. The shirt is also a little see-through. It is still good quality yet a white bra can be seen quite clearly. Simply by wearing a neutral bra colour solves this issue though.
Would I recommend the Vegan Outfitters T-shirt?
Yes, I would. Vegans will enjoy wearing this ethical, cruelty-free and pretty vegan slogan t-shirt.
